Highly carved wood scenes painted with the typical ironstone-red ground beneath a gold paint overlay. Panels of this quality are rarely found in the marketplace today. The panels are considered architectural relics and were originally featured in Chinese furniture, large panels or doors at entry way of rooms. A very beautiful piece and great investment.
