Description

This very beautiful Clock is made in France around 1810/1820, Empire Period. The movement is signed Japy Freres. Excellent stylized bronze royale vase on a gilt bronze engraved stand with a square base with ornamens and four feet. The vase ears with feather engraved swansheads with palmette tails. The vase front with olive leaves and wreath ornament with ribbon. Early French Silk threaded suspension.
