Second Empire French 19th C Carrera white marble and gilt bronze mantel clock with original gilding, case with a gilt bronze maiden to the left, holdong an open birdcage in her hand with the bird rested on her right foot. To the right is a putti flying thorough the clouds offering her a bird in his hand. The bottom base section with gilt, ball type edge beading and inset with gilt mounts on 6 toupe style feet.
