69 piece set. Some faded. In 1765, Thomas Minton was born in Shrewsbury, England. After completing his education, he went to work for the Thomas Turner’s Caughley porcelain factory. Thomas’ passion for pottery and porcelain led him to seek apprenticeship with Spode, Wedgwood etc. In 1793, Thomas Minton Partnered with William Pownall and Joseph Poulson and began building his factory.
