Description

An Austrian carved giltwood and gilt metal frame clock, white enamel dial with blued steel hands, Apollo mask pendulum. Frame clocks, between 1820-1840, were typical of the South germain and Austrian interior areas. The decorations were made in plaster and gilded frame clocks almost always have four quarter striking on coiled gongs. This one also had a music box.
