Description
A very nice Victorian gilt-bronze Louis XVI style cartel clock modeled as a wreath in which the dial is placed. The well-cast gilt-bronze curvilinear case is adorned with numerous mounts that incluide the scrolling foliage. The movement is a Japy Freres and has the clock makers mark on the back plate. It is of excellent quality as you would expect from this maker and in excellent condition.
