Charles Guilliaume Maniere (1778-1812) was the son of a Parisian master clock maker.<\/p>\n<p>On the movement, as you can see, is the name Planchon, Paris, which makes us believe that the clock case and dial are older \u00a0than the movement.<\/p>\n<p>Planchon is from the lsast quarter of the 19th C. Mathieu Planchon was a maker of great repute.
