Lerolle Freres 1836-1863. The lerolles succeeded their father’s company in 1836 and participated to the major exhibitions of the second half of the 19th C. Formally trained as sculptors, most of their decorative art creations strongly reflect their initial training. Lerolle Freres were one of the leading bronziers in the second half of the 19th C and exhibited regularly at the London and Paris Exhibitions.
